MY HP PAVILION LAPTOP HAS "THE ANTIVIRUS SOFT DEMO" VIRUS.. IT WONT LET ME OPEN ANY APPLICATIONS SUCH AS TASK MANAGER.. OR IT WONT LET ME DOWNLOAD ANYTHING... IT KEEPS TELLING ME THAT EVERYTHING I TRY TO OPEN IS INFECTED. I CANT FIND THIS ANTIVIRUS SOFT DEMO ANYWHERE IN MY COMPUTER TO DELETE IT... PLEASE HELP ME.. I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS BUT I WAS DIRECTED TO THIS WEBSITE FOR HELP

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
