I need help. This darn thing popped up and said that I had windows updates. And installed this XP antispyware crap. I just did safe mode. Got my malwarebyte's to work and removed some stuff. I wasnt able to get web browser to work till after i done that. I just want to make sure it is gone. I also would like to know what the best way to prevent this from happening again?? Anything you can do to help I would appreciate. And I am one that needs step by step instructions. (lol) thanks in advance!

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
