bankerfox.a and win32 nuqel.e

Hello,

I have been infected with the "bankerfox.a" and "win32 nuqel.e" problem. It is popping up fake virus protection software and alerts and xxx sites. I don't know what to do and I'm not very computer savvy. I have tried to follow the instructions you give in your "read first" post. Please help! Thanks!

NOTE: I have Sunbelt VIPRE virus protection software, but haven't been able to run it. It seems to be blocked and their tech support said they couldn't help me.

Hello,
Before finding your website and forum, we were desperate to fix the problem, so we found, downloaded, and ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. We didn't know if it would work, but it did, it found about 10 problems and cleaned them. The problems that I was having (with the popup trying to get me to buy their antivirus program and porn sites popping up) both disappeared after that. My computer seems to be running fine now. I have Vipre installed and running an update daily and scans and cleans each night. So far so good. However, I'm wondering if there is anything else I should do now? Do you think that we got the virus/trojan/whatever totally off of my computer? How can we tell for sure? Thank you very much.
