not sure where to post this: can't see icons on a website from one of my puters

This may not be the right place to ask, but it's the darnedest thing.
All of a sudden - and not having made any changes I'm aware of - when I go my web shopsite as an administrator, I can see all the text, but nȯne of the icons. This is particularly problematic because one of the icons I can't see it the print icon.
When i go to the same site from my laptop, everything is fine. Others can see the whole site just fine. So it must be some setting that has changed on my desktop computer, but i don't even know where to begin to look.

everything else works fine. i regularly run anti virus progs and nothing untoward has shown up recently.
any help (or redirection to an appropriate forum) is appreciated.

what browser are you using?

another odd thing. If I CTL P to print the page, the icons don't appear on the printed page either.
yet they do on any other computer that you view or print from.

Go to tools >> clear recent history, clear the cache, cookies etc.

nope. that didn't do it either. hmrmph.

here's what someone else recommended....
also go to start->run-> type here %temp% then a window will open, then a window will open and delete all temporary internet files.

my question to you(who I trust more...) is - is it safe for me to just completely delet all the temp files and xml files and
plugtemp folders etc? They date back 2 years, when this computer was built - and i have no other troubles on it, so i'm a little nervous about deleting things in such a broad stroke manner.

Hello,

Those files are safe to delete, they are just temporary files which can be created by the computer again if needed. Using CCleaner is a safe way to delete temporary files, see here:

back to the original question, i also notice that there are other images that don't show up on that computer. any ideas? or any other direction you think i should head?
