MS Office Converter Pack

I have a Dell vostro 1500 laptop which has MS office 2003. I am unable to install MS office file converter pack 2007 because a message appears saying another installation is in progress. When I look at the task manager it doesn't show anything else running. Please advise,

Boot into safe mode to perform the installation. See if it works.

Tried booting in safe mode and it would not let me install the file format converters.exe on hard disk to start set up. Had to run in normal mode again and the message came up again, " Another installation is in progress " but nȯne is installing. Please advise.

Where id you download the converter pack from?

I disabled services and startup and then installed the office pack. It then installed ok. Thanks for your time.
