Common Driver Folder

Hey there, I am new to your forum, so thanks in advance for offering this venue for help.
In booting up one of my computers the window for My Computer opens to the directory "C:\Program Files\ Common" and remains open on the desk top until I close it. It is my son's computer so I am not sure when this started but I expect it was after running CClean to get rid of a RunDLL error that was popping up on boot up, but is now resolved.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Download Programmappsfixaren 1.21 and save it to desktop:

Close all programs. Double click the icon and reboot your computer.

Great help! Thanks. I am not sure what language the downloaded file is written in, and I was a little apprehensive loading it, but it worked perfectly. FYI my IT guy at work was completely stumped by this one, so good on you.
