Connection Problem

Hello, im using a laptop with windows vista and a computer windows 7 ultimate. Recently, my laptop became unable to use the internet. I cannot go to google or any other website whether i am using internet explorer of mozilla firefox, neither am i able to sign into windows live messenger. Wireless network connection says it is connected, and the network diagnostics do not detect any problem with my internet. The funny thing is i am able to use the internet well with my Windows 7 pc!! please help me thank you:)

Open CMD, Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults by typing: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults by typing: netsh int ip reset reset.log

Restart your PC.

See if you can connect now.

Hello, erm, i did as u specified, but am still unable to sign into msn. And i got to Google.com through mozilla firefox after 10 mins of loading..I dun think i can go to any other sites but google:(

I can connect to the internet, but cannot browse.Its connected with excellent signal=/

Err if it helps, i can still torrent anime very slowly, and MSN says theres a problem with key ports. MSN says im not connected to the .NET messenger service and that i am connected to the internet using wired connection when im using wireless??? please help me:(
