I have just installed Windows 7 on a new computer build. All is working well except when I set the computer to sleep when finished working. It is not set to sleep automatically. I manually place it in sleep mode. The computer does enter sleep mode right away, but when I come back later I find it is no longer sleeping.

I have a wireless mouse and have set the hardware profile to NOT allow the device to wake the computer. I have also set the media sharing in advanced settings to allow the computer to sleep.

Are there any other devices or settings I need to look into to fixt this?? Is there any way to look in a log file to determine what action/device/program woke the computer from sleep??

Thanks

Go to start>right click on "my computer">Manage

Click the system tools tree and click event viewer.

Check out the windows logs directory. You might be able to find some info there.

Hope this helps.
