Hi there!
I am new to this forum so would be grateful for any help!
I am running Vista
Am using Google Chrome but have also tried IE to see if both have the same problem - they do!
I am connected fine wirelessly to my router and can connect and use windows messenger live with no probs.
However my connection to IE and Google chrome can be sporadic and I find myself rebooting regularly to get a connection, which doesnt stay long.
I have read a couple of other threads which suggest wunning Winsock XP Fix, it comes up with an error though saying
'Registry Import Information not found'
i 'ok' that and it comes up with 'repair complete, please reboot immediately after. However before I do this it comes up with 'Run time error 53. File not found' I have rebooted but still have the problem
I have also tried the CMD prompt suggested in another thread but it says it needs 'elevation' or something like that
If someone could help with this I would be grateful!
Oh, I also run zonealarm and SpyDoctor however this was happening before I loaded spydoctor.
Many thanks
Victoria
