I have followed your instructions: 1.Remove from task manager 2.Download Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware 3.With quick scan it has been found 10 infections>> in Quarantine 4.Return to normal use but the alpha (so called) antivirus banner pops up again. What do you suggest me to do? My computer is a VAIO VGN-FZ18E - Vista Home Premium. Thanking you in advance. Yours Truly pierpaolo.pirona@alice.it P.S. I have also tried to uninstall Alpha from the list of programs but it returns to Alpha AV with this : Bracket-parenthesis FCC74B77-EC3E-4DD8-A80B-008A702075A9 Bracket Parenthesis.

  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

Dear Origin,I thank you for your help: but yesterday afternoon when I reopened my PC, Windows Live One Care has trapped a Trojan:Win32/FakeXPA that I have already deleted. From this very moment Alpha has disappeared from Task Manager and also from the list of the programs installed from which I was not able to uninstall, also the icons positioned in the lower tool bar are disappeared. I thank you again for your help, and in the meantime I save your advice for future need (I touch wood). If you need further explanation I will send you promptly. Yours truly pierpaolo.pirona@alice.it
