Screen issues on laptop

Hi - newbie here - hope this is in the right place.
I have a Lenovo laptop and the screen has gone green - I have downloaded drivers etc so I know that is not the issue. I think it may be a faulty connection somewhere but I dont know how to take it apart. I removed all the screws but the unit would not split.

Any ideas on what (a) the problem is and if it is likely to be a faulty connection how do I open the laptop up.
