How to Write 7 GB(single file) of data onto a DVD

I need help!!!

I have single file of around 7 gb of data and want to burn it on a dvd... So is there a DVD with a capacity of 8 gb or something ...also any other alternate way to copy this file to a DVD...

Either use a dual layer dvd which is 8gb or just split the file with an archive to become 2 x 4g dvd, which will be cheaper.

but that file is a single file around 7 gb(database file)...i am afraid if i divide it will be corrupted...plz guide

You can get dual layer DVD. But why is the Windows 7 file so big? It should be only around 2GB+.

You can get a dual layer DVD and burn on it. A dual layer DVD has a capacity of up to 8.5GB.

wat about the continuity of the data...will it break?

As long as the file size does not exceed the capacity of the DVD, it won't.
