The problem I am having is that some of my internet pages do not look the same. I cannot see some of the normal "sign in" buttons or other windows. also, when I go to google, even with the suggestions box checked, google does not suggest things to seach for as I type in to the text box. I am worried I have some sort of virus or key logger.

I just tried to go to facebook but I could not enter anything into the box or hit "share". My linked in page looks different also.

Here's another one. I go to mcafee to buy their program and when I hit "buy", nothing happens. Shit, somethings fubar....

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Did this fix your issue?

No, there are still multiple issues that are not "right" when I'm looking at explorer. Many pages do not show up correctly and there are still the issues with being able to type into facebook, auto-suggest on google, etc. What else do I need to do?

How is it now?

Not any better. I installed firefox on the advice of an IT guy and the internet looks completely normal again. Is it possible that my IE 7 or vista became corrupted and this is causing my issues, not spyware as I had originally feared?

It's possible. 64bit does have *some* compatability issue, as well as Vista is just a pain in the butt.
