Personal anti virus 8.2.10.25

This program attached itself to my computer & I cannot get rid of it. It isn't in the add/remove programs & when I try to uninstall it with the uninstall program that comes with, it doesn't work. I need help. This program or virus or what ever it is, is causing me huge head aches. It blocks me from getting into web browers & is always telling me I have trogans & all kinds of other malware. I need to get rid of this. Can someone please help me.

I got rid of this program this morning before I read this message, but thank you...I found that when I did a scan with my AVG it came up as a bad program, it asked me to scan it & I was able to remove the program...
