Having been infected with this monster was a mess! Your Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 'cured' my system while Norton didn't find even find it. Had a few disk problems as a result, and chkdsk wouldn't work, but I finally got it to work on reboot. You saved me from a reformat! Many, many thanks!

I can't get my task manager to work, so I can't do step 1

I can't get internet to work due to a firewall, so I can't download... I have a flash drive, so I'll download the thing on the laptop I'm on and try and transfer it over I guess...?

I, also cannot open task manager. I can, however, open a web page but downloading anything is a no go. I get a bubble that states "Application cannot execute, *.exe blah blah blah* is infected.

I have seen 3 different issues so far: Total Security, Windows Police Pro, and a trojanSPM/LX... all on my pc (other computer) which is XP home

Ihave done a workaround go to windows folder find regedit.exe and change the ext to .com then it will open same with malwarebytes change the file you download before you install it to .com and it will install and run it but let it update itself to the newest version and this cleaned it out
