"System heavily infected" problem

Not my pc... First attempt to boot came to username screen, but mouse wouldn't work. Did a windows repair, and seems to have bought me some time. I was able to download and run malware bytes and removed some things, also have ran ccleaner and atf cleaner on some profiles. Web browser redirects often, then the offending program says the system is heavily infected, and tries to scan. Thanks for you help!

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)

How is the machine running now?

I can browse the internet for a few minutes, then the scan warning comes back up in the browser (firefox). I also have a red circle with white x in the bottom right saying I have exceeded my profile storage space. It seems when I google this problem is when the browser redirects. I have tried a few solutions for this all to no avail. The computer will not restart or shutdown because of this warning, so when I had to reboot with the OTM program, I had to manually shut off the computer.

I fixed the profile warning before running this, with a registry fix.. Also, installed McAfee to start scanning, but disabled to run combofix as instructed.

How is the machine running now?

When I hit ok, a warning pops up "Windows cannot find ComboFix. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. I did copy/paste it..

But, it seems to be better so far. I think that profile space thing was really messing things up.
