Infected with WinBlue Soft ... Please help!

My PC is infected with this winblue soft too .

The symton is:
- When Windows is running in normal mode, there is a message " My computer is infected with virus ... etc..." and I can run any program on this normal mode .
- On safe mode I can run some program.
- I can connect to the internet .. but most of the time it is redired to some other site.
- Before, I found this site I have followed some other advises ... in trying to remove this infection ... but all failed so far .

- I read some of the threads in this forum .. and download Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 from here and install but it does not install .. the same for any other anti-spywares I want to install to try out .

- On my PC I have Lavasoft, and Sysmantec installed . I could run them in safemode .. but they detect NOTHING . In other words, it does not help with this problem .
- I have tried something to fix ... as finding those as: blocker.dll, program files/winblue soft,
hex registry relate to winblue soft .... and delete but it does not cure the problem neither ... And I am stuck ... do not know what to do next .

Please help me .

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

• Restart your computer
  
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  
• Choose your usual account.
  

Try running the Hijack This setup in safe mode.

I followed yours instruction ...
Run windows in safe mode
Run install Hijack This .... It aks : choose the directory ... I click OK ... then I saw an icon (short cut) appears on my desk top ... That is ALL ... I do not think the program is installed properly -terminated somehow in the process and does not give any message - ( since it does not ask me to agree on anything ... etc ..)
I also try to click on the ICON ( short cut) ... Nothing happens .

Please tell me what am I going to try next ,

In safe mode, try deleting this file in bold:

C:\windows\system32\blocker.dll

I try to install by other way "RUN" ... it gives me a message :

C:\Document and Settings\ Owner\DesktopHJTinstal.exe
A device attatched to the system is not functioning .

Yes, I did remove this blocker.dll in system32 before

Check again, see if it's come back.
My bet it has.

I don't have my users delete it manually unless I'm certain it won't come back, but I don't have logs from your machine, so I'm not certain of anything right now.

I am doing SEARCH and manually go into that system 32 folder to find this file (blocker.dll) again ... But so far no luck .

That "my fault" ( read and try to do thing) not yours ....
Do we have any other way to this problem . Or I am stuck here .

Yes, MGtools does work ... I am having a MGlogs zip files on my computer now ... I could not find the the way to upload (attach) the file with this post .

Since my computer runs in safe mode the screen kind of "weird" => it is hard to see the "functions" provided for users in this forums . I try to find "upload , attach ..." file but can't locate .... Can you point me where ... Or I have to unzip the file and posted here...

The ComboFix log is incomplete, can you please post all the contents of the log, it should be located some where in your C:\ drive

Save this as CFScript.txt, save it to your desktop also.
Then drag and drop CFScript.txt into combofix as seen below:


This will open combofix again, agree to it's terms and allow it to run.
It may want to reboot after it's done. (It will warn you if it wants to)
Post the resulting log back here.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Post the contents of the MBAM Log.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

Hi Origin,

I followed the instructions and did all the things ...
I saw the the message "combofix is uninstalled"
My computer seems running normal now .
Is there anything more that I need to do ?

Also, I would like to ask this question:
- Before I found this website, I have tried following some suggestions on NET and installed some other anti_spywares programs which I probably do not need . Should I uninstall all those not needed in my computer?
- I have both programs HiJackThis & MGtools installed in my PC (HijackThis installed first - but it could not install itself properly- Then Belahzurs told me to try MGtools and it worked ) . My question is : Do I keep both programs as they currently are or I should remove one / or both of them out of my PC ?

Below I have included a number of recommendations for how to protect your computer in order to prevent future malware infections. Please take these recommendations seriously; these few simple steps can stave off the vast majority of spyware problems. As happy as we are to help you, for your sake we would rather not have repeat customers.

1) Please navigate to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and download all the "critical updates" for Windows. This can patch many of the security holes through which attackers can gain access to your computer.

Please either enable Automatic Updates under Start -> Control Panel -> Automatic Updates , or get into the habit of checking for Windows updates regularly. I cannot stress enough how important this is.

2) In order to protect yourself against spyware, you should consider installing and running the following free programs:

Ad-Aware SE
A tutorial on using Ad-Aware to remove spyware from your computer may be found here.

Spybot-Search & Destroy
A tutorial on using Spybot to remove spyware from your computer may be found here. Please also remember to enable Spybot's "Immunize" and "TeaTimer" features.

SpywareBlaster

SpywareGuard
A tutorial on using SpywareGuard for realtime protection against spyware and hijackers may be found here.

Make sure to keep these programs up-to-date and to run them regularly, as this can prevent a great deal of spyware hassle.

3) Please consider using an alternate browser. Mozilla's Firefox browser is fantastic; it is much more secure than Internet Explorer, immune to almost all known browser hijackers, and also has the best built-in popup blocker (as an added benefit!) that I have ever seen. What kind are the names of the tools you downloaded?

Oh, as said, before I found yours, this nasty WinBlue Soft drove me nut ...
(I got infected when I was in Greeting 123 to find an electronic birthday card for a friend ... I did not know HOW it could find way to attack my PC ... since I have antivirus -Sysmantec- & antispyware - Lavasoft - ON all the time - )
So, I surf the net to find solution ... Some suggest this or that program would be able to fix the problem ... such as... Spyware Doctor, Registry Mechanic ... and few others too .. I tried them all but with no good result .. Until I am here .
