Hi I am trying to burn a dvd but only this morning the program keeps telling me that it cannot detect the devices for burning.

Here is the error message:

I have run every virus removal tool I have and removed those that they found but I can't fix this no matter what I try. Also I should mention that when I try to run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware program it refuses to open. I uninstalled it and re-installed it and it still does the same thing.

Could someone please help me. It would be greatly appreciated.

Warmest Regards

With Malwarebytes's refusal to open, it sounds to me that you still have a virus. Also with you having stated that you ran other anti-virus programs and removed found viruses,Download and Run HijackThis

Post a copy of your log in the Malware Removal Guide section of this forum. Doctor Inferno and the others there will be able to ensure that you have completely removed the viruses and that they are not the cause of this problem. They are wonderful and extremely prompt to respond. I needed to remove a terrible virus from my mother-in-law's computer, and had I been checking my post more often, I would have had the virus "lost and gone forever" in a matter of minutes.

In the mean time,
1)Open My Computer
2)Right click on the DVD burner drive.
3)Select "Properties"
4)Click the tab at the top that says "Recording"
5)Make sure that the box is clicked/selected/checked that says "Enable CD (may say DVD) Recording on this drive" is selected

[b]EVEN IF MY INSTRUCTIONS SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM STILL POST YOUR HIJACK THIS LOG IN THE MALWARE REMOVAL GUIDE OF THE FORUM
