FireFox Frezzing

Hello,

I have FireFox 3 it was working for a while and now its frezzes my computer up and I have to restart my computer. It does this to other broswers that is not IE7.

Is there any particular site you surf while this happens? Or does it happen for every site?

The HijackThis log is clean, so it shouldn't be malware related.

Have you reinstalled Firefox to see if it will work properly?

I've done it more than 20 times and still the same.

There might be a certain incompatible add-on you are using which causes this. Go to Tools >> Add-ons and disable every add-on one by one.

The extension you most recently enabled is either bad, or conflicting with another extension you enabled earlier. To find out if it's a conflict, enable ONLY that extension, and see if you can reproduce the crashes. If you cannot, then enabling other extensions until you crash will help you find the conflicting extension.

Firefox 3.0.9 is still known to be buggy under afew circumstances, but i cant only think of two.
1)ActiveX incompatibility
2)Firebug

You can search around the web to find people who experience same thing as you.

even with the stable version of firefox, or opera?

Since I reinstalled my XP it started to do it.
