Need to know about Opera browser

I have mozilla firfox that I use and I was wondering if Opera browser is safe as Mozilla or better?

Both are almost equally good. Firefox has the capability of being more tweak-able. Both are also secure, but Firefox tend to patch vulnerabilities faster than Opera.
