BigFix

Good morning! I've got yet another question...my husband's computer has BigFix installed...I have no idea when or how he downloaded it and he has no idea either. I'm not finding any negative info about it but just wanted to verify. It's not showing up as a problem with AVG, Malwarebytes, or SAS but I just wanted to make sure. Do you recommend leaving it installed? Thanks!

Bigfix is designed to Notify you of patches or updates for Windows.

The software was created by HP and is completely safe to use (I trust your computer was made by HP...)

If you use Windows Update for the same task, then you can disable/uninstall bigfix.

Thanks, Jerry. This is a computer that was built locally and perhaps they loaded it for him. I do have him setup for Windows Update so I'll just disable it.
