sending a Utube video to a cell phone

I have tried to zip a saved file from a video from U tube, after saving it in my video folder, I have tried to decrease the length of the video before sending it to less than 8MB ,what is the simplest way to send a video from Utube to a cell phone,I have Vista Basic with Internet Exp ,even if I can get one half of a video to go I would be happy ,is it possible ,any tricks ,hints whatever to do this.?Thanks

The secret is not the compression of the original file extention, but the conversion of the files into compressed extention formats acceptable too mobile phones.

3GP is my favourite!

At times you will still find files too large to send via SMS format which usually means waiting until your within Bluetooth range.

I guess you could also email them although i have'nt used this method yet?
