What language is used?

I just want to ask what programming language should i is used so that i can make a photo stream. it's something like that photo stream of flicker. the one where when you click the arrow, it will take you to the next picture.

There are free codes you can use, one is called Lightbox 2

If not then you need Javascript.

hmmm.....would it still work even if there's no internet....??

You can do using flash too. But I suggest learning Javascript because you can create other cooler things besides the image viewer.
