Another Win32.Zafi.B! Help!

I've had this trojan/worm for about 2 days now and I've been searching all over the net to remove it. Most websites told me to download various softwares but none of them seem to be able to get rid of it.

I keep getting alerted by Security Center Alert about this Win32.Zafi.B and when I click Enable Protection, it directs me to bogus Perfect Defender. I downloaded it, unknowingly and told me I had a lot of viruses and had to purchase the it to get rid of them. However, I ran Ad-Aware and CCleaner but did not detect anything like Perfect Defender did including this trojan. I then got rid of Perfect Defender.

I don't know if these problems are caused by this trojan but I've experienced them since the computer had been affected.
> It seems to slow everything down.
> I use Mozilla Firefox and gets shut down a few times before I can use it.
> Internet Explorer won't work either. It keeps directing me to a page saying I need to activate security.
> I want to get into safe mode to run scans but after I press F8 and directed to the page where I can choose which mode to go onto, it won't let me move to other options (using the arrows) and I can't even use [Enter] so I have to wait until it does so automatically and starts up in Normal Mode.


Please Help! & I'm also not sure if I have any other infections since this is a shared computer. Analyzing the Log File, is there anything I need to get rid of?

At the right hand side, I receive a Virus Advisory where it says that I have W32/IRCbot.worm. Is this another trojan/worm? too? Or is it the same as the previous trojan?

Does Mcafee find anything now?

errm, it's was there before I started this, I think it infected the computer with Win32/Zafi.B cause I frequently check the Security Center and I was hoping that would go away with the last one.

Removing that folder doesn't make a difference.

Okay, lets run a rootkit scan.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop
Link: HERE or HERE.

• Click on Avenger.zip to open the file
  
• Extract avenger.exe to your desktop
  

2. Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.

• Leave the script box empty.
  
• Leave the ticked box "Scan for rootkit" ticked.
  
• Then tick "Disable any rootkits found"
  
• Now click on the Execute to begin execution of the script.
  
• Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
  
  The Avenger will automatically do the following:
  
  
• It will Restart your computer.
  
• On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
  
• After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
  
• The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.
  

3. Please copy/paste the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply.
