Opera won't speak to me.

I'm trying to figure out why the voice feature in my Opera is not working. I have the latest version of Opera and when I highlight text and right click and select 'Speak' ,,, it does on speak to me any more. It works sometimes but only once.
Can anyone help me to get Opera speak to me.

We can fix your problem, but I am going to have to ask a few questions first.

How long have you been having this problem?
Did this problem occure after a recent update?
Have you tried reinstalling Opera?

I have only noticed this problem recently and I have installed the latest version of Opera and even reinstalled the voice files.
When ever I change a setting in the voice , I get the voice returning for about 5 time then it cuts out.
This is a job for the Geek Police.

Just edited to let you know that I am still trying. I really wish I could get a copy of Operas source code lol.

I tried contacting Opera support, even they did not know what was causing the problem.

I guess this is a a problem caused by a bug.

I can get it going by pressing on any of the option buttons in the voice set up.
It's been working fine though for the past 2 day.
The Geek Police have done their job.
