Internet music

What causes my internet music to be broken and jerky?  

Did you ever find a solution to this?

This is put here as reference for causes of such troubles...
There are many reasons for internet music to be broken and jerky:

• Too many running programs.
  
• Too low RAM. Sometimes it helps to restart the system or close other internet heavy programs.
  
• Issues with firewall software. Usually helps to add an exception to the firewall, if it is trusted internet radio.
  
• Issues with antivirus software.
  
• Outdated sound card drivers.
  
• Outdated USB hub drivers (uncommon)
  
• Malfunctioning sound card.
  
• Virus/Malware infection
  
• Server problems on the end of the radio station/site you're listening
  
• Other issues that can be troubleshooted

What do you mean internet music? Like audio playing through Youtube videos? or something like Pandora?

I once had issues with my sound on Pandora. It was play a song but skip like a scratched CD. I found out that I did not have Java up to date and it was giving me issues. Not sure if this will be useful or not.
