Windows Defender infected

Recently I found out my windows defender antivirus is infected and, sometimes it turns off by itself, it has been causing my laptop to overheat. I tried resetting my computer and it didn't work which is very strange. suggestions would be appreciated.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Looks fine to me. Is it possible classic shell is crashing something?

Classic Shell crashed one time for me i restarted my computer and it fixed but it might be, I cant turn on my virus protection for some reason though?

Do several checks for me, is the license valid for the OS? Is windows defender updated to the latest version?

Try this method.

Start > Run, type in services.msc. Scroll to near the bottom of the list and look for Windows Defender.

Double click to bring up the information about that service, change the service start type to automatic and and press the Start button if it says not running or unstarted.

Strange I cant change it to manual to automatic also when I press "start" an error pops up? Here's a screenshot.
