So far the Run DLL error hasn't popped up (knock on wood). There were a few issues trying to get my HD to work. Is it okay to plug back into my computer or because of the corrupted file should I eer on the side of caution?

You should run a chkdsk on it.

1. Click Start, click Run, type chkdsk /f /r, and then click OK.
2. At the command prompt, type Y to let the disk scanner run when you restart the computer.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Chkdsk will run.
