I ran the program to the end as you suggested and rebooted.

Still no change, when you click Network Connections, it says:

"The network connection was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine. Please make sure the network connection service is enabled and running. "

No change except now when I select network connections, the pop up message does not come up anymore, just a blank page.

I really don't know why you're having that problem with NetWork Connections. Is everything else working ok?
