BSoD mfehidk.sys error

XP. Receiving BSoD error code mfehidk.sys on startup. Have used reinstall disk to search/fix errors with no results. Have booted through reinstall disk with no results. I have McAfee AV with all updates. Google search says mfehidk.sys is a McAfee problem. No help from McAfee tech support. Deactivated McAfee via another computer.

Looking for help to fix or remove mfehidk.sys and see if that is the only problem.

Have you tired uninstalling and re-installing Mcafee? If you still get the error remove McAfee and use their uninstaller and try another AV solution .
