Windows Update Error

I am having problems with installing the Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2607712). I am getting "Error details: Code 80073712". I have tried installing it several times, used the Windows Update troubleshooter, and done a system restore back to before that update. I am unsure what else I can do to try and fix this problem.

Do you currently have installed: Windows 7 Service Pack 1?

Either way, please click Start > search sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Allow it to run. Tell me if it fixed anything...

I ran the scan and it said "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log."

Please attach that log, located at c:\logs\CBS\CBS.log

That file is extremely large and would take a ton of posts to get it all on here. Could I email it to you or something instead?

The options provided. Were provided by them, and lead to "pay to downloads links". That might help you solve the problem. Said it was a Microsoft Windows Update issues. I tried many of them, then got tired of getting lead to " FREE to download, pay $39.00 to use links.
Can someone help me please? I can follow instruction. " not stupid, but I am limited
