The next console refresh is just around the corner with the Wii U set to re-revolutionize (maybe?) living-room gaming. In the meantime, DigiTimes is reporting that Taiwanese component makers are readying a new PlayStation 4 for 2012 and it will feature body-movement controls like those supported by Microsoft's Kinect.

This is not a surprising strategy for Sony, since their current motion gaming technology (known as Move) is plainly similar to Nintendo’s Wiimote motion gaming technology. The report states that Foxconn and Pegatron Technology will be assembling the PS4 for Sony with production at the end of 2011 for a 2012 launch.
