Win32/Cryptor and Trojan Generic22.gwn

Okay - my virus scan has been disabled (unknown to me!) for awhile and when I tried to manually run it last week, it said it there were problems. I'm just using the AVG 2011 free addition and so I did a restore/repair yesterday.

Now I have the Cryptor thing showing up, and AVG cannot delete it in every location. When I did a research today, the trojan showed up.

I've been having several weird things happen lately, and am now guessing these are the culprits.

I'm scared to download anything at this point, and am in serious need of help. I had been to a site years ago and the guidance I received was not in my best interest, so now I'm even scared about advice here. After reading some on the forums, I'm a little more trusting (hopefully not out of desperation!).

Help welcomed at this point....

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
  

Updated information: This evening updated AVG shows items removed -however I have received the blue screen for the first time this evening. I'm also getting all kinds of weird popups and diversions when I'm in internet explorer.
