Weird Screen/graphics issue

Okay so occasionally i'll be surfing the web, watching videos, or playing a game and my LCD monitor will just power off for like 5 seconds then come back on. Basically its restarting itself. This happens at random times so theres no way to time-stamp it and theres no pattern. Ive updated my graphics cards to the latest drivers and it did it once again an hour after i was done installing them. There is a firm video cable connection so that eliminates that. Here are my specs.

There's a good chance that you have a bad monitor. Can you try another monitor?

No, This is my only monitor.
