My Dell XPS has a problem reporting the correct time. About once a month the clock is off by 4hrs. It's not a big problem. It is now 8:31pm. Any ideas off the top of your head?

I see that the time posted correctly on the site! It posts very wrong on SAS's site.

It's a problem burried deeply inside of XP:

Many interesting links; but to no avail.

Since it's so minor, I will live with it. If I come across a 'Cure', I will gladly share it.

Try to change motherboard battery and try to set your clock to automatically sync with Windows Time Server.

Did you install correction (hotfix) for DST date change?

I skimmed thru around 600 updates in my update history. I didn't see it; most were for MSE and MSOffice. The date changed fine when DST began; I expect it will change back fine too. My IBM P4 laptop was off by 4Hrs(exactly) at least once or twice a day; but it got dropped only one(!) too many times. This old Dell only does it about once a month; so that's not too bad. But it never never Ever got dropped!

I solved one of my other problems by using a command that's new to me(subst); but I still have that video problem I posted.

Thank You!
