Logs on and off

I have a acer laptop and logs on and off immediately. It has occured after i finished using avast to scan it and found 6 infections.

I tried starting up with safe mode but same thing happens.

I tried doing a system restore from command prompt but i cannot get to that screen.

What else to do?

It windows XP Media Edition...

Hi,
Can you go to Command Prompt again ? I mean, boot from CD and click R to go to Command Prompt as Recovery Console.

Type next command and press enter :
chkdsk /r

After that command, type next one :
sfc /scannow

It should work now.
