Hello, I have had these logitech speakers for a couple years now. They are just perfect for me and I have never run into problems with them, however, recently my computer was infected with that pesky thinkpoint virus and I had to reset my computer back to factory settings and am having trouble getting them to work.

From what I recall there was never a startup disk or anything of that sort, it was just plug in and go.

When I try to access my audio settings in my control panel, I get a bunch of grey and it says that no audio device is connected.

try going into your BIOS and be sure the audio is set to auto

try downloading your audio drivers.

I had the same problem. I had to put the cd that came with the motherboard in to reinstall the audio drivers. Or the cd for the sound card if you don't have integrated audio.

Hi,

Go to Start > Run > type CMD and press Enter.
In Command prompt windows type next command :
sfc /scannow

You might need Windows XP Disc, if computer ask you.
