Disappearing taskbar and Windows Security Centre virus

I have 3 problems: in order in whcih they appeared:
1 I have a spurious icon in my task bar saying my pc is infected and I should download s/w to solve it.
2 I get 3 porn icons on my desktop (and 3 .exe icons).
3 My taskbar disappears during the load / startup procedure.
4 occasionally the system powers itself down.
I have run McAfee full scan, and found nothing. Occasionally though it prompts me that it has found and removed an Artemis virus

I have downloaed and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v1.46, in Safe Mode. It found 14 infected objects which I removed. I then rebooted and ran McAfee full scan, which found some additional tracker cookies.
However, I still am left with the same problems:
1 Taskbar appears initially , but during loading it disappears.
2 A Windows Security window opens.
3 A prompt from what would have been an Icon in the taskbar appears.
4 Task Mgr is disabled. (NB I have previously re-enabled it via booting into Administrator.
5 Porn icons appear o the desktop after several minutes.
So I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Can you help?
