Win32/Nuqel.E

Hello my name is Ralph. I'm not very It literate at all and I'm having a nightmare with some bogus virus Win32/Nuqel.E....?
I'm trying everything I know, can anyone please help? I'm sending this message from my laptop, but its my desktop that has the problem. A mate told me to use spy doctor, this is now sanning my machine and picking up lots of stuff however, they keep coming back - what am I doing wrong?
