Trojan.FakeAV!gen30 and Trojan.Zlob.P

Hello,

I've already downloaded Malwarebytes and have done these steps before. Malwarebytes was saved to my desktop... do I have to re-download it or just perform the scan again?

Also, my Norton account still shows that I have the viruses. Not sure why or what I need to do....

Okay, just re-scan, make sure you update the databse first.

Hello,
I did as requested but the Active X box never came up. Only the Eset window opened so I clicked the scan button... it took over an hour to complete. It did not find any threats and only had a "finish" button to click on. There was no log that opened up when it was completed.

Okay, how is the machine running now?

Hello, everything seems to be working fine. There are no more disruptions; however, when I looked into my Norton security history both threats were still there under "unresolved threats" and that they require manual removal.... Should I worry about that?

Does Norton say where they are located?

Actually, I think it was just a glitch in the system. I went into Norton to review the threat details and it had an option to remove the threats so I did. I then performed a security scan and Norton found 1 threat that was reslolved. Everything seems to be ok... thank you so much for all of your help
