i have gotten this virus today. i have all of the same symptoms of everyone else who has posted. it has taken me 5 minutes to type this much. pop ups(viagra.porn etc). i am computer stupid. otl will download but wont open. rkill will download but wont open . i still have mozilla firefox and can navigate the internet. i read the latest post about this virus and was completely lost. can anyone explain how to fix this problem to a moron? if i could find the person/people responsible for this virus i would put a bullet in their head and laugh and laugh and laugh! if i cant fix this easily by tomorrow i will smash this computer into little tiny pieces and buy a new one. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
