would deleting adobe AIR make other applications not run??

Hello there GeekPolice community

there is this adobe air application that annoys me just by seeing it sitting on my add/remove program wizard without having any functionality, I have never understood why I would want to keep this in my hard drive, Im thinking in deleting it but before I do so, I wanna ensure that no other programs depend on it perhaps adobe reader or adobe acrobat
recommendations on whether to leave or erase this application will be greatly appreciated

Adobe AIR is just another example of Adobloat products inc.
Yes, rid it of your computer. As a matter of fact, I would even get rid of Adobe reader and install the free PDF Xchange viewer.

Some programs use adobe air. I believe Twhirl twitter client uses adobe air and if you delete air, twhirl will not function.
