System running painfully slow still after virus removal

You wonderful people helped me get rid of a very nasty virus on my computer recently however since then my computer is running VERY VERY slowly. Even as I type this , and i am not a fast typer by any means the letters that I type don't show as fast as i type them. It is like my entire computer is lagging regardless to what I am doing on it. Any suggestions?

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.

If the machine is running slowly, have a look at your CPU in Task Manager and see what it's running at, the RAM looks good, 2gb free still.

It says the CPU is 25-29%

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.

Okay I have done all that you have asked me to do. In firefox i clicked on the Select all from the bottom of the list but I didnt see where it said empty selected but i could click on the select all button.

I recommend you remove the Java Quick Starter because it's not needed.
To do so, follow these instructions.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Java.
In the Java control panel, open the click the Advanced tab. Click the + in front of Miscellaneous and uncheck the Java Quick Starter box.
