Hi guys...

I appreciate the help....I got most of the virus off this computer, but I do not want to screw around with Hijack This....I'm far from _that_ computer literate.

Here is the log file that I just ran....(by the way, I did post this on another site, however they did not get back to me in 2 days, and I gave up on them).....thanks again....Kelly.

If you need to, yes. Either mode is fine really, but normal mode is prefered.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Okay....so, after I rebooted from malwarebytes....I could not connect to the internet. It says that the network card is not available...I am on another computer right now. I do not have any network connections and I cannot make a new connection, due to the lack of a network card (or whatever it's called, I haven't been on that comp in a bit)....

Please advise if there is anything I can do to fix the other computer....

Thanks...Kelly.

Yes, I did. I deleted all listed from Hijack this. Then ran Malwarebytes and rebooted, then I could not log onto the internet....I tried to log on to download OTL, and I could not log on, when I went to internet connections, there were no listed connections.

I tried to set up a new connection, and since I have a broadband connection, it sent me to troubleshoot....when I attempted to troubleshoot, it stated that my network card was not installed. This only happened after I rebooted after I removed the above listed log from malwarebytes.

Any idea why this could have happened?

Hello.

Please download LSPFix.

Unzip the program and start it.
DO NOT change anything in this window, just press the Fix button.

Reboot the machine, any connection now?

How am I supposed to download on the other computer, when I have no internet connection to get to the site with? Can I download it on another computer and save to a disc and run via that way?

Unfortunately, there is no flash drive here.....otherwise it would be easier.

LSPFix did not fix the comp. I did a search for winsock and got these 3 files....2 application extensions and one dl file. In network connections, I do not have any connections listed. I rebooted the computer after I ran LSPFix and I unplugged and rebooted the modem.

Any other suggestions?

Hello.
Hmm, try this.

Start > Run, in the Run box, type in cmd, hit enter.

When the command prompt window opens, type in the following:

netsh winsock reset

Hit enter and reboot.
Any luck now?
