Just to let you all know i recently recieved a caution message on my pc (running vista) that said vista security has found problem but need to be purchased. because i have avast anitvirus and lavasoft adaware i thaught nothing of it and kept declining the constant messages.
Two days later i turn on my pc and everytime i try to open something it askes me what to open it with , unless i open them as admin. Also i notice that my avast on access scanner wasnt running in the lower right hand.
Panicking id been infected with a virus , i started searching and thanks to this wonderfull site i installed malwarebytes and it fixed the issues
Just another big thansk , and hopefully it helps anyone else that has/receives this problem
