People of Lava, a Swedish startup, have announced an Android-powered TV, dubbed 'Scandinavia'. Set to ship later this year, the HDTV resembles the AppleTV interface in many ways but adds additional features that Apple users have been after.
A few things that stick out immediately are:
The dashboard view, something that Apple has steered away from, both in its mobile products and its AppleTV. This view features icons very similar to apple's Calendar icon as well as weather that looks a bit less similar to Apple's weather widget.
