Hello,
My computer has recently become infected with the AntiMalware virus. This has happened once before and the other forums on this site were very helpful in helping me get rid of the virus. Last time, I started the computer in safe mode and used malwarebytes to get rid of the virus. This time however, the virus seems to be a lot more advanced and I am getting VERY frustrated. First, the virus would not let me run malwarebytes from the normal windows operating mode. It uninstalled the copy I already had on, and when I tried to download a new copy, it would not let me install it. It would not let me run any other spyware software either. I tried renaming the malwarebytes file and that would not work. I then tried restarting my computer in safe mode to use antimalware. The virus seemed to have found its way to the safe mode also. Now, whenever I try to even start up in safe mode, I get the blue screen of death. When I try to start up normally, my screen goes blank. IS there any hope at all? Thank you so much in advance for any help you could offer. I am running windows XP by the way.
Thanks,
Michael
