ddr3 memory and AMD processors

I am building a PC with an amd processor and i wanted to know what is a good ddr3 memory to use? i notice alot of ddr3 memory says designed for Intel i7 or i5 processors does that mean it will not work good with AMD phenom x4 processors?

No, that's not correct. DDR3 is DDR3, doesn't mater what processor do you have.
