Hey, I've been using sandboxie to test applications for malware and viruses. Is there anyway to actually spot a virus in the sandboxie by looking through the files it creates? Is there any tips on spotting malicious files? Spots to look in?

No. The whole point of Sandboxie is to run applications in a small address space, so when the session in Sandboxie is ended, all changes will be deleted.

If you want to see similar data about the sandbox, look in C:\Sandbox

After installing the application in your sandbox, just look up the sandbox folder (as Jay says above: by default this is c:\sandbox) and have your favorite anti-malware program scan its contents.

If your computer is potent enough, I think a better way to test applications is by running them in a real virtual machine. Check out the Virtualbox website.
