Vista Antivirus Pro 2010

Computer got infected with this today. Thought I could fix quickly by running MalwareBytes (already on my computer) in safe mode but will not let me do it in safe mode with networking or just safe mode. Anytime I try to start a program the "Open with" windows box pops up and asks me to select the program that I want to use to open the .exe file in.

Please help!

Please download SREng

• Extract it to Desktop and double click SREngLdr.EXE to run it
  
• Select System Repair from the left pane.
  
• Click on File Association
  
• Select all entries that has an Error status click [Repair]
  
• Refer to this image for an example:
  
  
• In your case, it would be .EXE
  
• Close SREng now.
  

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
